Heron Harbor Park and campgrounds is located in the idyllic Youghiogheny River Valley. With the gently flowing river on one side and flanked on the other by the Great Allegheny Passage, a multi-use hiking & biking trail, it is the only campground in a natural setting in Allegheny County. We are accessible by auto, RV, bike, bus, and boat. It is only an half hour car drive from Pittsburgh and just a bike ride to Kennywood Park. Heron Harbor features include RV, houseboat and tent sites, rentals, a boat slip, picnic pavilion and a private fishing pond.

All sites boast a river view or a large pull-through site. The park and area offer many recreational activities; boating, kayaking and fishing on the Youghiogheny; camping, hiking, walking and bicycling on the Youghiogheny River Trail (also known as the Yough River Trail.) Horseback riding is allowed on some sections of the trail. Guests at the park also have access to a large no-license fishing pond.
